ASUS 15.6-inch Touchscreen All-in-one Eee Tops

asus eee topsAsus will launch an all-in-one PC built into a monitor, The Eee Top, which once called the Eee Monitor. Two versions of the Eee Top have been already listed  on Asus’s Web site, the ET1603 and the ET1602. Reportedly both feature a 15.6-inch touch-screen display, use Microsoft Windows XP and has an 1.6GHz Intel Atom microprocessor.

The ET1603 has an ATI HD3450 graphics card and a battery, weighs 4.4-kilograms. The ET1602 does not include a graphics card nor battery, but most of the rest of its specifications are the same as the other model, with 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and a 1.3-megapixel Webcam and several choices of ports including USB and three audio ports.

Asus R50A Arrives at the Price of $1880

UMPC asus r50aAsus UMPC(Ultra Mobile PC) R50A finally arrives. Informatic Center in Madrid is the first retailer to sell R50A,  and shipping it at a price of €1475 (about $1880).

Asus R50A is running Windows Vista with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom processor, a gig of RAM, a 32GB SSD hard drive, a 5.6” screen at 1024 x 600, three USB ports, a microSD slot, a wireless keyboard, and an external DVD reader / writer. Connectivity options include 802.11 b / g WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G. It may be the best UMPC for now.
