Now two sources have confirmed to the Times that former Time magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson will get Jobs’s cooperation in producing an authorized biography of the Apple CEO.Isaacson is the author of two other best-selling biographies of Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin. The book is still early in the planning stages, but is set to cover the life of the technology giant from his childhood to his career at Apple.Would you be inter

104 Vote(s)

If the answer is yes, you’re in for a treat, as HTC Legend is a leaner sexier, and all-around better version of that phone.Compared to HTC Desire, which I wrote about earlier, Legend is an inferior phone, mainly because it has a 600 MHz CPU (compared to Desire’s 1 GHz Snapdragon). On the other hand, compared to the Hero, it has a bigger (3.2 inch) screen with the same resolution (320 x 480 pixels), and the manual trackball has been replaced with an optical one (which I rarely thought of using when I tried it out — the touchscreen was more than enough for me).Other specs to note, besides Android 2.1, are the 5-megapixel camera, 512/384 MB of ROM/RAM, and Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS. Besides Leap, I’ve noticed some new widgets and several minor improvements. For example, the browser now has a very nice way to copy and paste, as well as to check out dictionary definitions for a word. The feature I liked the best, though, is the Friend Steam.
